CEI Robotics provides students with fun and engaging programs in Coding and Robotics!
Coding
CEI’s 6-week synchronous, remote, coding course immerses students in STEM concepts as they build and code their own video game in Scratch!
Students gain experience with:
- Coding – Students engage in critical, sequential thinking while learning programming concepts.
- Collaboration and Communication – Students present and communicate learnings and projects to the groups.
- STEAM – Students’ video games inherently incorporate math, physics, and art.
Easy to Get Started:
- Simple Start – Students click on a Google hangout video conference link to join the session on their laptop or iPad. 100% browser-based course (no software to download or files to save on students’ devices).
- No coding experience needed – Designed for students of all experience levels.
Robotics
Robots are cool! Students engage in active, hands-on-learning as they design, build and test their creations. At the same time, they learn computer science concepts in algorithms, abstractions, communication, programming and prototyping.
Though workshops, coaching, modeling and project-based learning curriculum development, CEI STEAM educators work with teachers and school leaders to develop a robust robotics program. We create age specific programs to ensure all students learn computer science and are skilled using 21st century technology. We provide training and mentoring on robotics, computer science and coding as well as advanced robotics which gives students the opportunity to create individualized robotic creations.
