CEI Early Stages introduces public school students to NYC’s creative and exciting world of the performing arts. Students attend Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, dance performances and music concerts, free of charge. In addition, students engage in workshops, discussions and writing.

Since 2013, CEI Early Stages has provided over 35,000 students from more than 80 schools from all five boroughs with the opportunity to attend theater, dance and music performances.

Studies have shown that attending live theater has an impact on how students see themselves and others as well as provides significant educational benefits such as engagement, vocabulary development, and social awareness.
