CEI Brings Esports Innovation to NYSCATE

We’re excited to join educators and technology leaders at this year’s NYSCATE conference, where CEI will be highlighting the growing impact of Esports in K–12 education.

What CEI Is Bringing

CEI is showcasing how Esports can be a powerful tool for student engagement, skill-building, and school culture. From our work with districts, we’re bringing:

  • A strategic framework for launching and scaling school-based Esports programs.
  • Guidance on infrastructure and implementation—equipment, staffing models, streaming, student roles, and safe program operations.
  • A focus on equity and inclusion, ensuring Esports reaches students who may not connect with traditional extracurriculars.
  • Clear connections to real-world skills, including teamwork, communication, digital media production, content creation, analytics, and event management.
  • Practical roadmaps and examples schools can use immediately, from pilot phases to district-wide programs.
Why Esports Matters

Esports resonates with today’s students and opens pathways into STEM, digital media, broadcasting, and career-ready skills. Schools are increasingly looking for ways to meet students where they are, and Esports offers a highly engaging, future-focused entry point.

Our Goal at NYSCATE

We’re here to help schools understand how to build sustainable, meaningful Esports ecosystems—not just clubs. We’re excited to collaborate with educators, share what works, and support districts in developing programs that strengthen engagement and expand opportunities for all students.

If you’re attending NYSCATE and want to talk Esports strategy, implementation, or partnerships, we’d love to connect.

Come see the CEI Esports Team in Verona at our Booth on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday!
we are very excited about our workshop on Tuesday and we hope you will join us!
