CEI Arts Education is proud to highlight the incredible work happening in our ongoing summer programming. We are, once again, partnering with South Richmond High School PS/IS 25R on CEI’s Walls4Change school mural program.
“Embedding art through the CEI partnership with South Richmond High School empowers our students to creatively express their voices, making complex issues like pollution or the need for positivity more relatable and impactful. Through visual storytelling, they inspire awareness, empathy, and action, fostering a sense of agency and community engagement that can lead to meaningful social and environmental change,” said Anthony Casella, Principal of South Richmond High School PS/IS 25R.
After last year’s successful mural on stopping gang violence, students are currently working collaboratively to create a meaningful and visually impactful piece that reflects hope, resilience, and encouragement within their school community.
